This week we sit down with Ali Stroker who was the first actress as a wheelchair user to appear in a Broadway show with 2015’s Spring Awakening. We talk about her journey from New Jersey neighborhood productions to Glee to her most recent foray in the revival of Oklahoma as Ado Annie. She tells us what inspired her, where we are right now as it pertains to disability representation, and where she’d like to see us go.
