This week we have a fun and spontaneous interview with The Cooper Hewitt Museum’s Manager of Accessibility, Ruth Starr. We chat about her entry into the world of inclusion studying translation and interpreting at the Rochester Institute of Technology and the “ah ha!” moment of realizing how inclusion and the arts fit together. We also hear about the many hats she’s worn, the things she learned from MoMa, the upcoming work with alt text, and our mutual love for Michelle Obama. Also this week we’re happy to announce that the podcast is hitting the road! We will be in Chicago February 19th to the 21st and hope to meet as many Access Champions and Inclusion Warriors in the windy city as possible! All of that and more on this week’s episode of The Access Champions Podcast.
